Caring for someone with complex medical needs can feel incredibly isolating.

Many families spend years navigating appointments, funding, equipment, therapies, medications, and daily care without ever having the opportunity to meet others who truly understand.

Complex Care Community Night was created to change that.

What Is Community Night?

Once a month, Riverside opens its doors to bring together individuals with complex medical needs, their families, caregivers, and support networks in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

This isn't a formal support group.

It isn't a medical appointment.

It's a chance to connect with people who genuinely understand your day-to-day life.

Sometimes the most valuable advice comes from another parent who has already walked the path you're on.

Community Night provides opportunities to:

Nurse-Led Guidance

As Riverside's founder and Registered Practical Nurse, Tammy understands many of the medical, behavioural, and practical challenges families face every day.

While Community Night is not intended to replace medical care or formal consultation, it creates opportunities to share knowledge, connect families with resources, and help people feel supported within their community.
